South East Calgary is packed with amenities that make it attractive… Fish Creek Provincial Park, Lake Communities, Recreation Centres, Golf Courses, Bike Paths, and Schools.

Most recently, families living in some of the newer South East Communities in particular, are enjoying the benefits of some brand new schools.  Making the switch from having your child bussed to a school in a different community, to watching them walk or ride their bike to school can completely change the daily routine for your entire family.

When it comes to work, more and more corporate offices are re-locating to South East Calgary as well.  One of the major attractions for people working in health care, is the new hospital located in the brand new South East  community of Seton – South Health Campus.

Usually, when working with couples and families, I find that one person may work in the South, while another may work downtown, or farther North.  The south East has 3 major routes heading North – Highway 2 continues on to MacLeod Trail straight into the Downtown Core.  Deefoot Trail also continues on from Highway 2, and Stoney Trail – Calgary’s new ring road connects them all together, and provides a fast track to the North along the Eastern edge of Calgary.
