Cranston Calgary Alberta

The Value in Cranston…

Parks, Pathways, and Panoramic Views

Located in what some consider the “Deep South” of SE Calgary, Cranston has much to offer to residents, and its value and amenities just keep growing.  Once a pioneer family homestead perched on the ridge of the Bow River Valley, this vibrant neighbourhood provides those who now call it home, with some of the most stunning views of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.  Hiking, biking and walking paths throughout the community and along the ridge give families the opportunity to get outside and be active on a daily basis.

Together with its connection to Sunny Alberta’s natural beauty, Cranston provides some very practical advantages.  Commuters enjoy easy access to Deerfoot Trail, a direct connection to Highway 2 North and South, as well as access to the south east corner of Calgary’s new ring road, Stoney Trail, also known as highway 201, Highway 22X and the Marquis of Lorne Trail (4 familiar names to Calgarians for the same section of roadway running East to West).

The newly opened SHC or South Health Campus is situated directly east of Cranston.  Adding to the convenience of Cranston, is a new shopping centre right in the community where one can pick up groceries, meet friends for coffee or a drink, do the banking and maybe even get a new haircut.  An abundance of shopping, restaurants and recreation facilities are all located within 5 minutes of Cranston.

Cranston is also one of the few newer communities in South Calgary that has schools within walking Distance.
